(1.3) Design with a Purpose at Weissraum Designforum Tirol

The exhibition Design with a Purpose features the IDRV’s contribution on the Circular Design Rules, on display from March 11 to April 11, 2025, at Weissraum Innsbruck.

As part of the exhibition Design with a Purpose, more than 20 projects and objects—ranging from everyday items and craftsmanship to the food sector—demonstrate how design can responsibly shape our interactions with materials, energy, and people. Without relying on exploitation, they tell stories, foster connections, and challenge existing systems with fresh solutions, all while maintaining a strong focus on aesthetics and functionality. Rather than claiming to solve the climate crisis, the showcased works prove that design can be sustainable, inspiring, and impactful.

Design with a Purpose is an exhibition by the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK, commissioned by the Klima Biennale Wien and made possible by the Klima- und Energiefonds.
