(3.3) Workshop for ReGenerativa at KinderKunstLabor St. Pölten

As part of the launch of the ReGenerativa initiative, IDRV contributed a material- and practice-based workshop at KinderKunstLabor St. Pölten that invited children and adults to think together about cycles and regeneration. The focus was on approaching regeneration not as an abstract ambition but as something that can be experienced in practice – through careful observation, hands-on work with materials, storytelling, and the development of new images of possible futures.

For IDRV, Ronja Grossar led a workshop on cycles and regeneration using everyday objects and materials as entry points. Participants examined and sorted these materials and traced their transitions: Where does a material come from, which processes transform it, what traces does use leave, and which return paths are realistic or desirable? Through a curated material collection, linear consumption patterns were disrupted and translated into circular, relational narratives.

In this way, IDRV extended its ongoing research and mediation formats that use concrete materials and situated practices to cultivate regeneration as a cultural competence across generations.
